Some prescription medications in combination with Viagra can lead to health problems.
It is recommended to ask your doctor if you take these medications while taking Viagra:
Nitroglycerin, amyl mitrite, isosorbide mononintrate (Monoket, Imdur), isosorbide dinitrate.
These drugs are called nitrates and used to treat angina (chest pain). Nitrates relax blood
vessels and lower blood pressure, and a combination of nitrates and Viagra, Cialis or Levitra
can cause extremely low blood pressure
Flomax (tamsulosin), Hytrin (terazosin) and other alpha blockers. These drugs are used to
treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and can cause extremely low blood pressure in combination
with Viagra, Cialis or Levitra. You can take only 25 mg Viagra pills with alpha blockers as prescribed by your doctor.
Despite this, Cialis is approved for use with Flomax (tamsulosin) with no bad side effects
Anti-arythmic heart medications
Some antibiotics and other medications. Ask your health provider what anti-ED medication to choose according to your health profile
